Happy 4th Birthday Beer Chronicle

First and foremost, thanks y’all. For real.

We started this little site because we didn’t think Houston’s emerging craft beer scene got the quality attention it deserved, and y’all have proven to us week in and week out that our time isn’t spent in vain. From adding new people to the team, to adding an online store, to becoming a part of the beer industry, Beer Chronicle has grown into what it is now because of you.

We’re humbled by y’all’s support, readership, and every time you share our stuff on social media.

Now, if you’ve been along for the ride since day one, you know we started this thing in Spring of 2016 and really got the site going on July 13, 2016, better known as 7-13. We couldn’t have not planned it better.

In typical Beer Chronicle Fashion, we don’e want to make our birthday just about us.

For our Birthday, we want to shine a spotlight on one Houston brewery, the Most Valuable Brewery (MVB), of the 2019-2020 season.

Now, the first half of 2020 has been wild, as you all know. Maybe a breweries response to COVID-19 or showing solidarity Black people helps put their name at the top this year. Only you know because only your votes decide.

MVB Voting – What’s in it for You?

3 Random voters will be chosen for a swag pack that’ll likely include beer, beer stuff, and other stuff. It’s always fire. We may even bust out some Houston Beer antiques one of these days.

Furthermore, every voter will receive a discount code for our store site. We don’t run sales, and we don’t offer very many discounts because, to be brutally honest, our margins aren’t that great! Hah! Either way, this will be the biggest disocunt to date.

Finally, helping shine a little spotlight on your favorite brewery. The makers, servers, and pioneers that you think are raising the bar for Houston beer deserve to be recognized. And you can help in less than 2 minutes.

MVB Voting – What’s in it for the Breweries?

The MVB winner will receive a framed certificate to commemorate their victory.

The MVB winner will also receive an ad spot on our site, reaching the tens of thousands of beer drinkers that read our rants and rambles.
