Happy Birthday Beer Chronicle

First and foremost, thanks again y’all. For real.

We started this blog because we didn’t think Houston’s emerging craft beer scene got the quality attention it deserved. In the last two years, that’s changed a little, and y’all have proven to us week in and week out that our time isn’t spent in vain.

We’re humbled by y’all’s support, readership, and every time you share our stuff on social media.

Now, if you’ve been along for the ride for a while, you know we started this thing Spring 2016 and really got the site going on July 13, 2016, better known as 7-13. We couldn’t have not planned it better. In the last 6 months, both Tony and Chris have had some simultaneous personal stuff pop up. That put beer on hold and content for the blog almost to a halt. But we’re back, and it’s almost time to celebrate our 2nd Birthday!

In typical Beer Chronicle Fashion, it’s not about us though. It’s about Houston. It’s about the breweries that have turned our beer scene into something to be nationally recognized.

For our Birthday, we want to shine a spotlight on one Houston brewery, the Most Valuable Brewery of the 2017-2018 season. Last year we chose one and let y’all, the people, vote on one. But it dawned on us, we’re not special. We’ll just cast our votes alongside you.
