Known For: A family owned & operated, neighborhood brewpub in Shady Acres, the Heights, featuring an interesting and eclectic interior design and stellar beer.
Beer to Try: Dry-Hopped Kölsch, Redwood IPA, WYSIWYG IPA, 88 Pils, Father Bernard’s Grodziskie (aka the ‘Grod’), the ‘Revisited’ series of beers.
An award-winning brewery coming right outta the gates, New Magnolia has made a lot of noise very quickly, and it has all been music to our ears. The brewery is named after Magnolia Brewing Co., which was located in downtown Houston from 1893 to 1918. With experience from Jester King, New Magnolia’s beers have garnered the well-deserved attention of casual drinkers and beer nerds alike.
