Houston Craft Beer Month Celebrates Community and Charity with a Beneficial Partnership with the Houston Food Bank

We are thrilled to announce the highly anticipated celebration of the Houston Craft Beer Month, taking place throughout the entire month of August. This annual event brings together beer enthusiasts, local breweries, and the community to revel in the rich tapestry of craft beer while fostering a spirit of giving back to those in need. This year, Houston Craft Beer Month is proud to partner with the Houston Food Bank, uniting beer lovers in a collective effort to make a positive impact on hunger within the city.

The Houston Craft Beer Month promises a series of exciting events and promotions that will cater to seasoned beer aficionados and newcomers alike. Throughout August, participating breweries and pubs will be offering exclusive beer tastings, pairing sessions, limited edition brew releases, and various entertaining activities for attendees to enjoy. This month-long celebration of craft beer aims to not only elevate the local beer scene but also to emphasize the significance of supporting the Houston Food Bank.

At the heart of Houston Craft Beer Month’s mission is the commitment to giving back to the community. To achieve this, a portion of the proceeds from the participating breweries’ sales will be donated directly to the Houston Food Bank. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to contribute through on-site donation points located at various event venues. By coming together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity in our beloved city.

“We are excited to partner with the Houston Food Bank for this year’s Craft Beer Month. Our thriving craft beer community has always been passionate about supporting local causes, and this partnership gives us the chance to make a meaningful impact on hunger within our community,” said Michael Duckworth, CEO of True Anomaly Brewing.

The Houston Food Bank plays a crucial role in alleviating hunger in the region, distributing millions of nutritious meals annually to those in need. With the support of Houston Craft Beer Month participants and attendees, we aim to provide substantial aid to this worthy cause, making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families who rely on the food bank’s assistance.

“We are continually touched by the thoughtfulness and generosity of our fellow Houstonians, from individuals to foundations to companies,” says Brian Greene, president/CEO of Houston Food Bank. “We thank all the craft breweries and pubs participating in this year’s Houston Craft Beer Month for making the Houston Food Bank a part of this special celebration. Raising awareness of the issue of hunger as well as money for the food bank makes an important impact in the communities which we serve in Greater Houston and 18 counties in southwest Texas.”

Join us in raising a glass to Houston Craft Beer Month this August, celebrating our vibrant craft beer culture while making a lasting impact on the lives of our fellow Houstonians. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or simply looking to support a worthy cause, there’s something for everyone during this exciting month-long celebration.
