Beer festivals have been back in full effect, and Wild West Brew Fest 2022 is ready to rock! 2021 was the return, and it was everything we’d been waiting for.
Wild West Brew Fest is one of the best rated beer festivals in the country, and we were glad to see it come back in 2021. We’ve met people that traveled from all around the country to visit this festival. The cute couple in the featured image at the top, A Stout Life, were definitely the coolest.

In only 10 years of slanging beer out West, that’s a ton of money to give back, and each year the ticker grows and grows. Something tells me we’ll be breaking the million mark this year with your help. This beer festival supports many causes, but a few notable ones are:
The Ballard House – a great organization and we are proud to support, you can view their mission here Christ Clinic – giving those in need proper medical care – and much needed during these times Operation Turkey – volunteers working together to ensure everyone on Thanksgiving receives a meal
Furthermore, the Rotary Club of Katy continues to reward those who work hard senior scholarships as they enter into college, a tradition that has been done for more than 25 years.
This Year’s Brew Fest is Geared at Connecting Local Business People More than Ever
The WWBF weekend will kick off on the evening of Thursday, November 3 with the K-Town Throwdown. Biz and Brew, an organization beer-drinking, high-level professionals who are interested in both networking and beer, will be hosting a special networking event on site from 4:00-6:00 PM. Business professionals can register for the networking hour and learn more at bizandbrew.com.
This type of networking is all about community, but it can’t be overlooked that this evening will sow seeds for years to come. Over a few beers and laughs, business-minded people from all over town will hitch their wagon to the causes that Wild West Brew Fest supports and hopefully even make some connections that deepen their own roots in the community.
Beer Festivals are Booming Again, so We’re Expecting Tickets to Sellout
Next up is the Launch Party on Friday, November 4 from 7:00-10:00 PM. This beer tasting event will be located in the WWBF VIP Hop House where attendees will get the first real glimpse of what the 2022 event has in store. It’s smaller and exclusive, and that’s exactly why everything’s expected to sell out quickly.
The launch party allows you to get up close and personal with Brewers themselves, enjoy top notch beers, awesome live music and food. There are only a limited number of tickets sold, so don’t drag your feet on this one
More Than 100 Brewers from Across the US Will be Pouring 750+ Beers – Last Year Was 500!
This is your opportunity to taste some of the best beer in America! VIP opens at 2:00 PM and General Admission opens at 3:00 PM; gates close at 9:00 PM.
The event will feature multiple party zones with several music stages including the Queen Legacy Band, TVs, food trucks and a wine garden. There’ll be plenty of shade and free water to stay hydrated alongside all those hundreds of beers.
Enjoy live music and multiple activities throughout the day. The amazing Hop House – dubbed the “beer nirvana” of over 12,000 square feet of climate-controlled space reserved for WWBF’s VIPs – will include over 40 taps, 20+ packaged products, food and music. Limited VIP tickets are available and will 100% sell out! They do every year, and there are less tickets available this year.
Houston Hard Hitters Will Lock Arms With Nationally Recognized Breweries For More Beer Than You’ve Ever Seen in One Place.

All of these local breweries will be in full force alongside national and regional names like Sierra Nevada, Sweetwater, Spoetzl, and Squatters. In addition to the vast swath of beers available, it’s all about giving back.
The Rotary Club of Katy founded the WWBF on the principal of giving back, and since its inception, nearly $1 million has been distributed to local schools, organizations and charities. The event is 100% volunteer-led and volunteer-run, and the Rotary Club of Katy takes zero fees from the money contributed. That’s right, every dollar of net proceeds is given back.
