We’ve Been Super Quiet Because We’ve Been Taking it to the Next Level
Back when we started this site in 2016, we had NO CLUE how thirsty, passionate, and dedicated Houstonians would end up being. We started off just wanting to share Houston beer, but it became apparent that you’d help us share much more than news about random releases, events, and beer factoids.
You helped us raise thousands for Hurricane Harvey victims, people that lost their jobs due to COVID, and George Floyd’s family.
Then we launched the least official “official” online Houston beer store there ever was, and you helped us with that too!
You helped us grow from a couple hundred followers to tens of thousands of eyeballs with all of your likes and shares of our articles.
You’ve Helped Us Grow to Be So Much More Than We Imagined
Don’t get me wrong, the blog is cool. Helping people and giving back is great. The store is cool too. None of those aspects are going anywhere; at least not any time soon!
But over the last couple of years, we’ve become a part of the beer industry in Houston thanks to you. Beer fills our bellies, memories fill our hearts, but you literally help feed our families even though you may not realize it.
It’s become so much more than just a blog.
Every Time You Purchase a Beer, Our Families Eat
That’s why I’m so so so honored and humbled to share with you our portfolio. It’s still very much a work in progress, but we wanted you to see it before we tell everybody else that it’s live.
This has been years in the making. Illustration, graphic design, photo, video, and even advertising have all become a part of Beer Chronicle, and those little individual projects have built up over the years!
So, thank you. Like. A lot. We wouldn’t be shit without y’all. We’re still not… But it feels cool to pretend like we are! Hah!
Stay tuned for a few more projects with local breweries as we try to grow Beer Chronicle into something even more. We want to bring you along too, though. If you’re interested in helping us with the following, just drop us a line:
